Yesterday (19/03/09) Microsoft launched the latest incarnation of its web browser - Internet Explorer 8 (IE8). The new browser is Microsoft's first major update since 2006 and includes enhanced security features and improved performance.

What does this mean for your website? New browsers can display websites differently from there older versions which can lead to the occasional 'oddity' in the display or function of a web page.
